About
Hi! I'm Raj, the founder of Sepoy Software. This blog is where I share technical essays on the things I'm passionate about: software architecture, AI/ML, frontend development, iOS/Swift, engineering leadership, and developer tools.
What You'll Find Here
This blog focuses on practical, in-depth technical content. I write about:
- Software Architecture: System design patterns, scalability challenges, and architectural decision-making
- AI/ML: Machine learning applications, AI tooling, and practical implementations
- Frontend Development: Modern web technologies, JavaScript frameworks, and user experience
- iOS & Swift: Mobile development, Swift programming, and iOS ecosystem insights
- Engineering Leadership: Technical leadership, team building, and engineering management
- Developer Tools: Productivity tools, workflow optimization, and development environment setup
The Technology Behind This Blog
This site is built with Eleventy, a static site generator that prioritizes performance and simplicity. Key features include:
- Performance-first: Static generation, minimal JavaScript, and fast loading times
- Accessibility-minded: Semantic HTML, keyboard focus styles, and regular Lighthouse checks
- Responsive Design: Works beautifully on all devices and screen sizes
- High-contrast design: A focused blue palette with strong text and control contrast
- Advanced Features: Series support, related posts, interactive p5.js sketches, and RSS/Atom/JSON feeds
The design uses a single high-contrast blue palette. Code is syntax-highlighted with Prism, diagrams are rendered with Mermaid, and p5.js sketches can run alongside their published source.

Philosophy
My tagline is "Technology sucks" because I believe we can always do better. Technology should serve people, not the other way around. Through this blog, I aim to share solutions that make technology more humane, accessible, and genuinely useful.
Every post is written with care, tested thoroughly, and focused on providing real value to fellow developers and technologists.
